The first port of call on your trip around Bangkok's temples is the famous Wat Traimit - famous as the home of the giant Golden Buddha, which stands 15 feet tall, and weighs more than five tonnes! Incredibly, although the sculpture was completed in the 13th century, it was covered in plaster for hundreds of years, and its true identity only discovered in 1955 when a crack revealed the pristine gold beneath!
Wat Po, the next stop on your tour is where you will see the famous reclining Buddha - a gold covered statue some 150 feet long! With plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere in this temple, you will discover many of the treasures for yourself - including a golden statue of none other than David Beckham!
Wat Benchamabobhit is described as being one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand, and features some truly incredible craftsmanship in its impressive architecture. This marble temple is a real highlight of the tour, and is a fitting place to finish before returning to your hotel.
